Explore Japan's Golden Route on this exciting 7-day tour including stops at Tokyo, Mt.Fuji, Kyoto, Nara, Adachi Museum of Art & Matsue!
The Japan Golden Route is our most highly recommended sightseeing course of Japan, involving visits to Mt. Fuji and Hakone from Tokyo before taking the Tokaido Shinkansen to Kyoto. This particular course allows you a chance to explore this route in seven days with stops in Nara and Shimane Prefecture's Adachi Museum of Art and Matsue.

Guide English-speaking guide service (except while on board the bullet train) on Day 2-6 and English assistant service at the point of transfer on Day 1, 3, and 7 is included.
Baggage Your baggage will be transported from Tokyo to Kyoto on Day 3. Each person will be allowed one piece of baggage.
Additional baggage will require an extra fee of JPY 2,200 per item.
Each person will be allowed one piece of baggage for the seat sharing van from Kyoto to Kansai Airport. Additional baggage will require an extra fee of JPY 1,000 per item. For overnight stay in Yonago on Day 5, we recommend that you carry a light overnight bag.

Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo

1. Guests are allowed to leave the tour at Itami Airport. If you would like to do so, please let us know upon booking.
2. This tour is offered to travelers from overseas only.

Mt. Fuji-Hakone Tour Remarks
1. When the Fuji Visitor Center is closed or if the tour is behind schedule due to traffic, the Fuji Visitor Center may be skipped.
2. The road to Mt. Fuji's 5th station is sometimes closed due to heavy snows in the winter and the early spring. If this is the case, or if the tour is behind schedule due to some operational reasons, you will go to the highest possible point.
3. Although the Hakone Ropeway and the Owakudani Valley or Pirate Boat may also be substituted depending upon traffic and weather conditions or for other operational reasons; the tour will not be cancelled and the tour fee will not be refunded. In the case that one or both of the destinations are omitted, you will enjoy one of the following alternatives: Narukawa Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Kawaguchiko Ropeway, Hakone-en Aquarium, or Hakone Jinja Shrine. Your tour guide will finalize alternatives based upon careful consideration of tour logistics and other conditions.
4. We recommend you to bring an overcoat or other warm clothing during the autumn and the winter.
5. The tour will not be cancelled nor refunded if you are unable to see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to weather conditions.

Nara Afternoon Tour
1. At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour includes the regular areas and does not include entrance to areas requiring admission.
2. If Nara Nagomikan is closed, the tour will visit another souvenir shop.
Morning Tour in Kyoto
1. Nijo Castle: On Tuesdays in Jan., Aug. and Dec., Nijo Castle is closed and you will visit Ryoanji Temple instead.
2. Kyoto Imperial Palace: On Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and some other days, the Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed and you will visit the Nishi Hongwanji Temple instead. You are required to fill out a form (your name, sex, age, nationality), when you enter the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
